Sneak Peak/Characters

My eyes wandered down, watching curiously as her hand smoothed the pleated

skirt of her dance

uniform over her legs. The light from the fire danced candidly over her,

illuminating her porcelain skin from every angle. I'd seen her in that uniform a

hundred times before,

yet suddenly it was igniting something inside of me.

I'd never noticed how....hot it was.

I'd never looked at Desi that way before.

In fact, I had never really thought of her as a girl before.

We were friends. Pals.

She was the kid who'd fallen and broken her arm after I'd "accidentally" pushed her

off the swings.

She was also the kid who had chased me, pined me down, and forced me to eat

rocks as payback.

Somewhere between then and now, she had turned into a girl.

Realizing that, the deal out on the table was sounding better and better every

second.

It was actually starting to sound perfect to me.

I watched as her full, pink lips turned into a smile.

He cheeks flushed slightly crimson, but I could tell by the way she looked at me....

She was thinking the exact same thing.

Characters:

This is Desi. I wanted her to have a sweet and simple kind of beauty that can

sometimes be overlooked and overshadowed by the over the top, in your face,

'look at me, look at me' centerfold wannabe's out there. Desi is a smart girl with

good instincts, but can sometimes be a little naive.

This is Travis. I'm not gonna lie, I'm A HUGE 'Friday Night Lights' fan, and if you

don't watch the show, you should. This is the guy who plays Tim Riggins on the

show, and he is pure hotness! If I'm being honest, Travis' character may be based a

little on Tim Riggins. This is who I've got in my head while I'm writing for Travis.

More characters will be added in this story later.
